Report exports, checked by the file that arrives
The check for an export is the file itself. OpenAdapt can run a report export from a demonstration and accept it only when exactly one new file with the right name, size and date lands in the folder you name. The file check is part of the open-source engine.

How the check works
- Open the report and set the filters or dates you showed it.
- Start the export.
- Check the folder, or the file-transfer server it goes to: exactly one new file, matching the name pattern, a plausible size and a fresh time. When the expected content is known, it also compares the file's contents.
- If the folder can't be read, it stops. It never assumes no file was expected.
The "exactly one" rule catches a double export that quietly writes "report (1).csv".
Where this stands
The file check is part of the open-source engine and runs in its automated tests.
